For our group for radar signal processing in Dresden we are looking for an experienced software engineer who supports us in getting people detection and motion recognition reality based on integrated millimeter wave sensors.
Today millimeter wave sensors are available as on-chip solution including powerful processing capabilities. Together with embedded computers which even offer high performance GPUs real-time sensor systems get in reach which allow using millimeter wave technology for safety sensing or human-machine interaction. To be part of that development we are developing digital models of scenes and sensors and design data processing algorithms on that basis.
Your profile:
At least 3 years of work experience
Strong skills in C/C++
Experience in real-time sensor data processing and memory access optimization
Knowledge of utilizing Windows and Linus operating systems
Ideally experience in parallelization on multi-core CPU or GPU
Fluent in English, German at level C
Python scripting is beneficial
Self-reliant, solution-oriented way, strong problem-solving skills
